Restaurant Doubek is built around a custom tasting menu and a minimalist interior — the kind of fine dining experience where guests linger for hours, not minutes. Background sound in that setting carries a different demand than most restaurants face: it has to remain soft, clear, and completely consistent over a long sitting, without ever becoming the thing guests notice.
A tasting menu unfolds slowly. Guests might spend two or three hours at the table, and the soundscape around them has to support that entire arc — never intrusive, never inconsistent, and never the kind of background music that becomes noticeable through repetition or uneven volume. In a minimalist interior built around the food itself, the audio system also had to be visually silent.
Doubek's installation combines eight Spottune Omni Cord speakers with eight Omni Recessed kits, connected through a single Stream unit. The mix allowed each part of the dining room to be treated according to its ceiling and design — recessed kits where a flush finish was needed, suspended Omni Cord speakers where the room allowed for it — while every speaker delivers the same omnidirectional coverage.
The result is sound that reaches every table at the same gentle level, regardless of where a guest is seated or how long they stay.
Restaurant Doubek now has a calm, refined audio atmosphere that supports the dining experience without ever competing with it. The sound is present throughout a full evening's sitting — consistent at the two-hour mark as it was at the first course — and entirely invisible within the room's minimalist design.
For fine dining venues where long sittings and understated interiors demand audio that performs quietly and consistently, Doubek shows what wireless commercial audio makes possible: 360-degree sound, zero visible hardware, and a system built to hold its character for as long as the evening lasts.
