Autocentralen's showroom houses three car brands, VW, Skoda, and Seat, across 3,500m² of connected space. Each brand area carries its own identity, its own displays, its own atmosphere. The sound needed to follow that same logic, distinct per zone, while the showroom as a whole still had to feel like one coherent space rather than three businesses sharing a roof.
A multi-brand dealership has to walk a line most single-brand retailers never face. Each brand area needs its own atmosphere to reflect its own identity, but the showroom itself is one continuous space, and customers move freely between zones. Sound that ignored the brand boundaries would flatten what makes each area distinct. Sound that felt completely disconnected between zones would make the showroom feel fragmented. On top of that, the system needed to support daily activity and events across the full 3,500m² floor.
Spottune created distinct audio zones for each brand area, with dedicated playlists and schedules that match VW, Skoda, and Seat's individual atmospheres. Twenty-five Omni Cord speakers and three Omni Recessed units were placed across the showroom, chosen by mounting type to suit each area's ceiling and layout, all delivering the same 360-degree coverage. Two Stream units manage the zones, giving Autocentralen the ability to adjust each brand area independently, or run the whole showroom as one experience during events.
Autocentralen now has a distinct atmosphere in each brand zone, with audio that supports the visual identity already built into each area, while sound performance stays even and reliable across the entire showroom floor. Schedules and playlists run independently per zone day to day, and the system adapts easily when an event calls for a different setup across the full space.
For large-format, multi-brand retail environments where distinct identities need to coexist under one roof, Autocentralen shows that zoned sound and a cohesive showroom experience aren't in tension. They run on the same wireless system.
