Anya Hindmarch wanted high-quality sound for its stores on Pont Street and in Burlington Arcade, two of London's most refined retail addresses, without affecting the carefully considered visual design either space was built around. The brief demanded sound that performed clearly whether the volume was barely audible or turned up for a busier moment, with nothing visible to suggest an audio system was there at all.
A premium retail space leaves no room for visible compromise. The system needed to integrate into the existing 3-phase lighting tracks already in place at both stores, with no separate fixtures or visible hardware breaking the line of either interior. At the same time, the sound itself had to stay clear and consistent across the full range, from a quiet, near-silent volume to something more present, without distortion at either end.
Two Omni Track speakers were installed at each location, fitting directly into the existing lighting tracks at Pont Street and Burlington Arcade with no additional fixtures required. 360-degree sound ensures even coverage across both stores, run through a single Stream unit per location.
Both stores now offer balanced, high-quality sound that enhances the shopping experience while staying visually discreet, exactly the standard a premium retail address like Pont Street or Burlington Arcade demands. Nothing about the installation interrupts the interior. It simply supports it.
