Rainer wanted high-quality sound for its Mazda and Yamaha showroom that would enhance the experience without getting in the way of what actually happens on a dealership floor: conversations. The brief was specific about where the line sits. Sound needed to be immersive enough to support a premium showroom, but never loud enough to overpower a discussion between staff and a customer.
A car dealership is a conversation-heavy environment. Customers ask questions, staff explain features and financing, and that exchange happens at every point on the showroom floor, not just at a single sales desk. Audio that's too loud or unevenly distributed becomes a distraction exactly where it matters most. The brief called for sound that stayed clear and consistent everywhere, without ever competing with the conversation actually closing the sale.
Six Omni Track speakers were installed across the showroom, delivering 360-degree sound that provides even coverage with fewer units than a traditional directional system would require. A single Stream unit runs the full setup.
The dealership now offers an immersive audio atmosphere that fits a high-end automotive environment, present enough to shape the experience, restrained enough that it never gets in the way of a sales conversation. For dealerships and showrooms where the most important sound in the room is the one between staff and customer, Rainer shows what the right balance looks like.
