Hotel Vejlefjord is a premium Danish hotel where the guest experience is carefully composed across every touchpoint. The restaurant and spa are separate spaces — physically distant, acoustically distinct, and designed to create very different moods. Managing audio across both used to require manual attention. Now it runs itself.
A hotel restaurant and a spa demand different sonic identities — and they operate on different schedules. Breakfast service sounds different from dinner. The spa has quiet morning hours and busier afternoon sessions. Getting the right music playing in the right space at the right time, every day, is a small but constant operational task — one that is easy to get wrong when staff are focused on guests.
The two areas are also physically separated, which ruled out a single audio source. Each needed its own system, but managed as one.
Two Spottune Stream units were installed — one serving the restaurant, one the spa — each with Omni Cord speakers chosen for their elegant suspended design and ability to fill high-ceiling spaces evenly. Both units connect to the same Spottune cloud account, allowing the hotel to manage all audio centrally from a single platform.
Playlists are scheduled in advance. The restaurant switches automatically from a calm morning atmosphere to a more energised evening programme. The spa runs its own curated sound throughout the day. Neither requires a staff member to press play.
"The music is always right when guests arrive — in the restaurant and in the spa. Nobody has to think about it. It just works."— Hotel Vejlefjord
Every area of the hotel sounds exactly as it should, at every hour of the day — without manual intervention, without staff training, and without anything visible that doesn't belong in the interior. The Omni Cord speakers sit naturally in the high-ceiling spaces of both areas, delivering 360-degree sound coverage from a minimal footprint.
For hospitality properties that want consistent, scheduled commercial audio across multiple areas, Hotel Vejlefjord is a direct proof of concept: cloud-managed sound that runs on its own schedule, in spaces that were never designed around a speaker system.
